The course introduces students to database management—from data modeling to data collection, to data analysis—with a strong focus on Relational Databases and the Structured Query Language (SQL). It addresses the theory, application, and management of relational databases, as well as alternative database paradigms.
At the end of the course, students should be familiar with the various steps and tools involved in the data management process and be able to handle data programmatically.
