Career Accelerator Lab is designed to help students in CATÓLICA-LISBON’s Master programs to develop skills that are important for working with and managing people, as well as for approaching the job market, and therefore for lifelong employability and growth.

Plan the Trimester Before Enrolling!

Career Accelerator Lab is a  mandatory requirement for full-time MSc students, who will have to complete a certain amount of ECTS in career activities and workshops. Most activities will grant Points, that will then be converted into ECTS. All students can check how many Points they need to accumulate (to achieve the ECTS needed) and how many Points they are missing here.

Enrollment for activities will happen before each trimester. In order to be able to enroll and check schedules, you will need to access the careerNETwork platform. If you don't remember your password, use your personal email and click Forgot Password, or contact careerlab.clsbe@ucp.pt beforehand.

After enrolling on workshops on careerNETwork platform, you will have to access Academy platform to attend them. Activities may have different duration and they will be delivered in a blended format with asynchronous and/or synchronous moments. In asynchronous moments, you will be required to perform some tasks at your own rhythm within specific deadlines provided by the trainer or the company. The synchronous moments will require you to be present at the set date and time either in a room/location or in an online session (Zoom, Teams, or other video conference platform).

There will be several activities running simultaneously, so you will have to choose carefully. If you don’t miss workshops and activities, you will be able to enrol 12 hours  in advance in the following trimester, as an advantage.

Workshops will only run if a minimum number of students enroll for it. If the minimum number is not reached, after the registration period ends, enrolled students will be contacted and allowed to enroll in one of the available workshops.

Check below all activities you will be able to choose throughout the program. Not all activities and workshops will be offered in all trimesters. Before each trimester you will be able to check available offer here and here.

For more detailed rules and guidelines of the Career Accelerator Lab, please check our handbook here.
