Academic Calendar Undergraduate Programs

The academic calendar gives you an idea of the course schedule at CATÓLICA-LISBON and allows you to organize yourself during your stay in Portugal. It is a common calendar for students of the Undergraduate Program in Economics and the Undergraduate Program in Business Administration.

Courses & Workload Undergraduate Programs

The normal semester workload for a CATÓLICA-LISBON Undergraduate student is 30 ECTS; exchange students, however, should follow their home university's guidelines. The Maximum workload per semester is 33 ECTS (27 ECTS+ optional Portuguese Language Course).

Additionally, in order to help you select the courses you will attend during your exchange, the International Student Affairs department makes available an up-to-date list of courses before every semester.

The academic calendar gives you an idea of the course schedule at CATÓLICA-LISBON and allows you to organize yourself during your stay in Portugal. It is a common calendar for students of International Master of Science in Business Administration, Master of Science in Business Administration and Master of Science in Economics.

Courses & Workload Master Programs (Master of Science in Management | Economics)

The normal semester workload for a CATÓLICA-LISBON MSc student is 27 to 28 ECTS. Exchange students, however, should follow their home university guidelines. At the MSc Programs, 1 ECTS-credit point stands for 6 contact hours and an estimated workload of around 25 to 30 hours.

The Maximum workload per semester is 33 ECTS (28 ECTS+ optional Portuguese Language Course), corresponding to a maximum of 8 courses per semester and an average of 4 courses per trimester.

Additionally, in order to help you select the courses you will attend during your exchange, the International Student Affairs department makes available an update list of MSc courses before every semester.
