Joined IMS in 2005 as the lead consultant for Portugal, and became Country Principal in 2006. Since 2008, has been a Geographic Principal, leading the IMS consulting practice in SEMEA (South Europe, Middle East and Africa), CESEMEA (Central, Eastern, Southern Europe Middle East and Africa) and Europe Growth Markets (Turkey, Russia, Balkans, Middle East & North Africa). During this time, he has acquired significant experience and expertise in the New Commercial Models strategies, including organization design and go-to-market team sizing to face emerging stakeholders, the Product and Portfolio Strategy area, including Portfolio Development, Market Entry Strategies, Forecasting, and the Commercial Effectiveness area, including Profiling, Segmentation and Targeting, Resource Optimization, Compensation Planning, among others. Currently is IMS Commercial & Consulting Director, Portugal. Before joining IMS, Tiago was an Associate at Mckinsey & Co. (Portugal), working on strategic consulting projects for the financial, retail, media and entertainment sectors, including market and client segmentation, marketing strategies, churn containment and reduction, and "lean" initiatives. Holds a Master's Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Lisbon, and an MBA from INSEAD (France and Singapore).
