Martinho Lucas Pires is a lawyer, consultant and university professor. Martinho works and researches in the areas of banking and financial law, on the regulation and supervision of banks, payment institutions, and the offering of financial products and services supported by new technologies (Fintech). He worked as a lawyer, consultant and of counsel at the DLA Piper office in Lisbon, and now as a senior consultant at the company BlockReg Advisors, based in England, where he advises Portuguese and foreign companies on cryptoactive regulation matters. Martinho is a member of the board of directors of the PFA-Portugal Fintech Association.
