Mário Meira holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, a M.Sc in Economics from Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics and a BA (“Licenciatura”) degree in Economics from Católica-Porto School of Business and Economics. He is an Assistant professor and currently teaches several Finance related courses for Undergraduates, Masters and MBA programs. He has worked as a consultant for major Portuguese firms in the energy, telecommunications and banking sectors. His research interests include corporate finance, credit ratings, portfolio theory and econometrics.
