Joana Mata Pereira is the Director of Learning Innovation and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at CATÓLICA-LISBON. She is currently the Pedagogical Director of the Executive Undergraduate in Retail and Commercial Management program where she also teaches Mathematics courses.
Joana holds a Ph.D and a M.Sc in Mathematics Education from the Institute of Education at the University of Lisbon, and a B.Sc in Mathematics from the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Lisbon.
With over a decade of experience in teaching and research, Joana has taught courses in Mathematics, Mathematics Education and Research Methods. Her research focuses on Education and Mathematical Reasoning, and she is an integrated member of UIDEF research unit (University of Lisbon) and research collaborator at CUBE.
