Catarina Reis holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her areas of specialization are Macroeconomics and Economic Theory, and her research focuses on the design of optimal fiscal policy.
