Alexandre Carlos de Mello Vieira Costa Relvas was born in Luanda on August, 1956. He is married and has five children. He graduated from CATÓLICA-LISBON with a degree in Business Administration, where he lectured from 1978 to 1991. From 1991 to 1995 he was Secretary of State for Tourism in the Constitutional Government XII. He is shareholder and Board Member of Logoplaste. He was CEO of Logoplaste between 1997 and 2017.
Shareholder and non-executive Board Member of Norfin – Sociedade Gestora de Fundos de Investimento Imobiliário, a holding company in the real estate sector; Shareholder and President of Casa Relvas, a wine producer; Shareholder and Non-Executive Board Member of Logohotéis and Invesvia, owner of Porto Bay Hotels in Brazil. Non-executive Board Member of Nutrinveste. Founding shareholder and President of the Board of the Observador and shareholder of Mesacer Ceramics. He was President of the CATÓLICA-LISBON’s Alumni Association in 1990 and 1991, Member of the Strategic Council of Universidade Católica’s Institute of Political Studies and the Advisory Board for the CATÓLICA-LISBON’s Masters in Finance.
Since 2013, he has been Chairman of the Audit Board of Comunidade Vida e Paz and a Member of the Board of Curators of the National Museum of Ancient Art (Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga).
