We are proud to announce that Professor Ilídio Barreto, from CATÓLICA-LISBON, has accepted the invitation to become a member of the Editorial Review Board of one of the most prestigious scientific publications in Management, the Academy of Management Journal (AMJ).

The AMJ is the flagship empirical journal of the Academy of Management, which is the oldest and largest scholarly management association in the world, with nearly 20,000 members from 120 countries. The Editorial Review Board (ERB) members are selected based on their past research and AMJ reviewing history and they have an important role in helping on a regular basis the AMJ editors in their decision-making about the submitted scientific works that should (or should not) be accepted for publication.

Professor Ilídio Barreto is already a member of the editorial boards of two other highly influential scientific publications in Management, the Journal of Business Venturing and the Journal of Management Studies.

At the end of 2018, his paper on the reconceptualization of dynamic capabilities was in the top 10 of the most cited scientific articles published worldwide since 2010 in the category of Strategic Management, according to the Google Scholar data. He also won in 2013 the prestigious JMS Best Paper Award, intended to select one article of particularly outstanding quality, which has been published in the Journal of Management Studies during the preceding year, with his work "Solving the entrepreneurial puzzle: The role of entrepreneurial interpretation in opportunity formation and related processes".
