Want to apply what you learn in your program to real-world challenges?
These interactive sessions give you the chance to work with NGOs on real social problems and develop practical skills valued in the job market.
You’ll join a multidisciplinary team and use an effective methodology to pitch a solution —just like in a real business or consulting environment.
Along the way, you’ll receive inspiration, guidance, and direct feedback from NGOs and social innovation experts.
This is an opportunity to:
- Strengthen skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and pitching
- Connect with NGOs and social innovation experts and take your ideas beyond the classroom
What to expect:
- Thursday, 5 February (12:45–13:45) room tba – Kick-off mandatory session to get inspired; integrate a multi-disciplinary team and learn about your NGO’s challenge and which methodology will be used to analyze the problem, design a solution, and pitch it
- Friday, 6 February - optional (online) check-ins with NGOs to clarify any doubts about the problem and refine your ideas
- Monday, 9 February (morning) – optional (online) check-ins with Yunus Social Innovation Center to refine your solution and pitch
- Monday, 9 February (15:30–17:30) room tba – Closing pitch mandatory session with final group pitches and feedback.
If you’re curious about using your skills for social good – this challenge is for you.
By enrolling in the Kick-off mandatory session (Thursday, 5 February [12:45–13:45]) you will be considered enrolled automatically at the Closing pitch mandatory session (Monday, 9 February [15:30–17:30]).
To make the most of the experience, we recommend participating in all sessions.
To be considered for your personal skills development – Learn in Action and Career Accelerator Lab – participation in both mandatory sessions is required.
This event is a collaboration with Social Responsibility Office & Yunus Social Innovation Center.
