The MSc in Management with specialization in Strategic Marketing provides advanced, in-depth training in core aspects of the marketing function.
It is an exciting time to be a marketing manager, with technology creating entirely new categories of products and services. In this program, you can deepen your knowledge in new forms and contexts of marketing through a broad range of electives. You will also learn and practice conducting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative research.
This program is designed to provide you with the academic and practical knowledge to succeed in a variety of marketing-related careers. Develop the conceptual knowledge, analytical and technical skills, creativity and competencies to help you advance to high level marketing positions.
The marketing specialization provides additional training and in-depth knowledge to prepare you for a successful career in Marketing. A range of specialization courses, both mandatory and elective, allows you to explore various functions and roles and build differentiation for your professional profile. Leadership Lab is designed to help you develop important competencies for managing and working with people and, therefore, for lifelong employability and growth. You can select among 1) career and employment workshops, and 2) personal development workshops.
The Master thesis is the culmination of your master program. This is when you build on the knowledge and skills acquired during the program to develop an individual project on topic that resonates with your career aspirations and helps you excel in an area you find professionally relevant.
The thesis project involves a research methodologies workshop, designed to provide you with advice, resources and useful tools to plan the research for your thesis, and write a dissertation.
Management or Economics graduates who seek a high level career in marketing, including in sales, market research and analytics, branding, or advertising.
Professional experience/internship (up to 2 years), international exposure (exchange, summer school or internship abroad) and extracurricular achievements are highly valued by the Admissions Jury.

Start your application online, provide us with your personal information, upload the mandatory documents and pay the application fee. Graduates with a non-quantitative degree, must submit the GMAT/GRE result or take the CATÓLICA-LISBON Internal Admission Test. The Admissions Jury reviews applications shortly after each application period deadline.
