Involvement with the business community is a key success factor for CATÓLICA-LISBON. The Executives in Residence (EIR) is a program where senior business executives with a consolidated experience are invited to become more involved with the Business School and to participate in its’ active life.
Appointed by the Dean, Executives in Residence bring an energy and perspective to campus that enrich classroom studies and School’s research and other projects. Students can establish and maintain connections with executives, which can even translate into professional opportunities.
Accessible to students, faculty and staff on a pre-scheduled basis, the contributions of the Executives in Residence may include:
- Speaking engagements
- Guest lectures
- Workshops in major specific areas
- Career advising and feedback
- Participation in advisory boards
- Competition judging
- Sponsorship of class projects
- Assist students and faculty members with networking
