Our keynote speaker, Daniel Rock, is a researcher at MIT's Initiative on the Digital Economy. Daniel's research focuses on the impact of Artificial Intelligence on firm productivity and economic growth. Some of his recent projects study the economic effects of machine learning on the labor market and measure the market value of human capital and intangible assets.
Daniel received a Ph.D. from MIT, and in October 2020, he is joining the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania as an assistant professor.
In addition to Daniel Rock, the conference will also have the participation of Professor João Borges de Assunção, who will address the theme of "Artificial Intelligence and the Productivity Paradox". There will also be a debate among the speakers on the topic, with the moderation of Professor Miguel Godinho Matos.
This event is a unique opportunity to learn more about the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, as well as the changes and the impact that it can promote in companies and businesses.
The conference will be followed by a cocktail.
The entrance is free, but limited to the capacity of the auditorium.
