Healthcare managers are responsible not only for clinical results, but also financial results. Therefore, executives and healthcare workers whould understand all fundamental factors to achieve an efective organizational strategy, adequate financial and operations management and the ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
The Healthcare Management Program (HMP) is as intensive learning program taught by a team comprising a teaching faculty that has an excellent academic background, reinforced in this course by a set of healthcare specialists. The learning process is complemented with the analisys of real cases, from Portugal and from abroad, exercises, in class debates and with the exchange of experiences between the teaching staff and the participants in the program.
The program provides staff and managers of hospitals, clinics, health centres, health insurance companies and sub-systems with a solid management component for their training, which will enable them to meet new professional challenges, contributing towards a greater efficiency and competitiveness in healthcare units.
