This course is about leadership and is intended to help students become more effective when dealing with workplace demands for leadership, regardless of their previous work experience.

The course examines “what” leadership is, “why” it is important, and “when” it is useful. Each class will discuss alternative approaches to leadership, compare various leadership styles, and examine a range of leadership processes. Students will use readings, role-plays, experiential exercises, as well as class discussions, to optimize their own leadership capabilities.
