I am...
Tiago Gomes graduated in Psychology and fascinated by the complexity of the brain and the experiences that shape our lives. After completing my initial studies in psychology, my desire to modernize psychology and place it in a broader context motivated me to pursue a master's degree in management at the CATÓLICA-LISBON. This step was decisive in learning how to apply psychological principles in innovative ways, especially in organizational environments, thus expanding the impact and applicability of psychology.
Outside of the professional context, I love traveling alone. These trips are my moments of connection with different cultures and with myself, continually redefining my perspective on the world and people.
A curiosity about me is that, since the 4th year of school, I've kept a small collection of objects that I've collected throughout my life. Each object has a unique story and evokes a specific moment or lesson I've learned and serves as a constant source of inspiration and reflection in both my personal and professional life.
How did Clarapy Therapeutics come about?
Clarapy Therapeutics came about during one of my solo trips, in a moment of deep peace on top of a mountain at sunset, where I had a moment of clarity that led me to create the mission that today is the essence of the company. The name Clarapy is a fusion of the words 'Clarity' and 'Therapy', and our brand symbol represents the sunset where that moment of clarity occurred. This mission began with a solo founder and now has an incredible team dedicated to expanding and deepening that vision of transforming access to mental health.

Dreams:
My dream is to make mental health more accessible and present in people's lives, ensuring that each individual lives not just their life, but lives it with the best possible quality.
What moves your heart:
To know that my work is helping people in a way that has a big impact on their lives.
Greatest Achievement:
Founding this project at the age of 22, with almost no financial resources, but with a clear vision and a lot of determination.
Biggest Challenge:
The biggest challenge is overcoming the uncertainties of entrepreneurship, including financial instability, making critical daily decisions and building a solid and motivated team, requiring constant resilience and adaptation.
The most difficult question:
"What do you want to be when you grow up?" We don't need to know exactly what we want to be from an early age. We should try different things, and even if 99% of them fail, it's enough to get it right once. We can get it wrong several times, but when we get it right once, we're on the right track. If we don't try and fail, we'll never get that chance.
A book that struck you and why:
"48 Laws of Power" by Robert Greene, because it offers a strategic vision of human behavior and power dynamics, was an important reference in my professional journey.
A quote that inspires you:
"Nobody who ever gave his best regretted it." – George Halas
