António Viana Baptista distinguished with the Career Award 2010

The Career Award 2010 was awarded to António Viana Baptista who completed his degree in Economics between 1975 and 1980.

He is currently a Non-Executive Member of various Boards of Directors and a Consultant in the Field of Telecommunications and International Private Equity and Investment Banks in Europe and the Americas. António Viana Baptista is also part of the INSEAD Spanish Council (in 2010 he was honored as one of "50 Alumni That Changed the world" among the 30,000 alumni of INSEAD), CATÓLICA-LISBON's Council of Strategic Orientation and the Advisory Board of the International College Spain.

The Career Award 2010 ceremony was held on the 25th of May on CATÓLICA-LISBON Day and included speeches from Artur Santos Silva, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Banco BPI, who briefly presented the professional profile of the award winner, and the conductor Joana Carneiro, music director of the Berkeley Symphony Orchestra, who spoke in this ceremony as keynote speaker of the session.

The CATÓLICA-LISBON Day is an annual event organized by the Board of CATÓLICA-LISBON through its Alumni Office, with the support of the the Alumni Association, which aims to bring together the Alumni to celebrate CATÓLICA-LISBON Day and distinguish a former student for his/her exceptional professional performance.
