At Queen’s University, Double Degree students will be working on a Group Business Project for which the grade is usually only available in August.
As this course counts as a Free Elective towards CATÓLICA-LISBON’s study plan, students are allowed to defend their dissertation in July (even without the grade of the Group Business Project) and choose if they want to request the Final Certificate right away or wait until the grade of the course is issued and converted.
Upon receipt of the final Transcript from Queen’s (i.e., including the Group Business Project), CATÓLICA-LISBON Academic Registrar Services would issue the Final Certificate (usually at the beginning of September) and the grade of the project course, if passed, would be included in the Final Certificate.
For students who need to have their Final Certificate issued before the grade of the Group Business Project is available, students should send an email to Academic Services with the Double Degree in CC stating that they accept that their Group Business Project grade will not be included in the final GPA of their Final Certificate.
Upon receipt of the very final Transcript from Queen’s (i.e., including the Group Business Project) and if requested by students, Academic Services could issue: a Supplement to the Diploma or a “new via” of the Final Certificate, in which it would be mentioned that the student completed, with success, a Group Business Project course at Queen’s; for both documents issued, but they would not include the grade of the Group Business Project course.
