The career consultant team aims to support CATÓLICA-LISBON's partner companies in their search for talent.

Events

Career Forum 2015 - General View

The Career Forum takes place in November and is the main recruitment event at CATÓLICA-LISBON, bringing together companies who interact with students through stands.

Take a look at the last Career Forum here.

Company Presentations/Alumni Talks are held throughout the semester, where students can learn more about companies and their recruitment process.

Networking Events, split into business sectors, are held throughout the semester. These recruitment events allow students to contact companies directly.

Several companies hold Open Days throughout the semester, where students have the opportunity to meet companies at their premises, to find out more about their recruitment processes and to participate in business operations, among other learning opportunities.

73% of CATÓLICA-LISBON Undergraduate students finish their program having acquired professional experience. These students do, on average, 2 internships while at CATÓLICA-LISBON.

Of these students, 16% had an international professional experience.

100% of CATÓLICA-LISBON Master students finish their program having acquired professional experience. 23% of Master students had three or more internships when completing the program.

27% of Master students had a professional experience outside Portugal before or during their program.

Recruitment

The acquisition of professional experience during the program and the high quality of the students are two major factors taken into account by the recruiting companies at the time of hiring:

  • 82% of CATÓLICA-LISBON Undergraduate students who decide to join the job market are employed within 3 months of completion of their program;
  • 46% of the students are hired before they complete their degree.
