This course is about the value of a company, how we can measure it, and what variables have a strong impact on it. The course is based on cases that have to be solved by students, as if they are working for an investment bank, so a practical approach is used. Students should use the case data to solve it, or if needed current financial data, so there is no need to do “financial archeology”. The course will be very time demanding, but at the same time students have the feeling of what they might expect if they decide to pursue a career in investment banking.
